Cat not included 🙂

If you follow me on facebook or Instagram, you know that Johanna and I love being busy having fun and creating things, especially during the Advent season, so you can imagine my excitement in trying Crayola’s Cling Creator! My friend Lexi helped me setup the tubes, molds and instruments in the caddy while our kids bounced up and down in excitement ready to give it a go.

The Cling Creator contains everything you need to make the clings and to create your own molds. Did I mention that you can even use glitter in the molds? Squeeee! Apply the clings to windows or mirrors. Don’t worry, they peel off super easy! It’s meant for ages 8+, but Johanna was able to work through it with no problems with my guidance.

Making the clings are super easy and after 20 minutes they are ready! Now, we would love to make our own molds at some point, but I have to build up my creative esteem first.

Peppermint Heart Lollipops

Hello mamas (and papas)! Merry Christmas season! I think you all know that I absolutely love Christmas season. Jesus birthday and my birthday in the same month? Yes please! Today’s treat is brought to you as part of a bigger holiday blogger collaboration. 15 fantabulous mommy bloggers have contributed giving lots of advise, decorating tips, and treat tips for the holidays. Sooooo let’s get to it. Peppermint Heart Lollipops!

  • lollipop sticks
  • candy canes (regular or mini_
  • chocolate (chips or melts)
  • Toppings

  1. Set out the lollipop sticks on a waxed or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  2. Arrange the candy canes at the top of the sticks in the shape of hearts.
  3. Preheat the oven to 300F and place the hearts in the oven for 3 minutes.
  4. Pull them out, press the ends together and pull out the sides to make the heart shape.
  5. Fill them with chocolate.
  6. Add toppings.

Now, a few notes. Yes, this does work a little more awesome with mini candy canes, but we go big in this house so there! And yes, I’m sure this would be prettier with white chocolate, but Johanna doesn’t like white chocolate. Lastly, I’m sure it would look more Christmasy with red and green sprinkles, but Johanna prefers the marshmallows in from her cereal, so there’s that.

This treat is super easy to make. If you use candy melts you can leave it to set for about 15 minutes, but if you use milk chocolate it’s best to pop it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

I hope your little ones enjoy this treat! Johanna sure did.

Yummo! Let me know if you decide to make this, and what your favorite toppings are!
